I completed my PhD at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. I love New Zealand and miss many people and places there. I am, however, extremely happy to be living on O‘ahu, which is not only extremely beautiful but is closer to my parents (they live on the island of Hawai‘i).

I enjoy dancing, snorkeling, SCUBA, hiking (called `tramping' in New Zealand), and meeting new people. I also like travel, cats, dogs, photography, movies, jewelry, good public transport, vegetarian food, and anything to do with the ocean (especially the Pacific). I can't (or at least don't want to) imagine life without music. Or laughter.
