I grew up in California, spent a year in Taiwan, and studied at the University of Canterbury in Aotearoa before settling in Hawai‘i.

In addition to all things language, I love my husband, family, and friends, and Tahitian dancing and hula. I also love travel, animals, photography, movies, jewelry, good public transport, vegetarian food, and anything to do with the ocean - especially the Pacific.

I can't (or at least don't want to) imagine life without music. Or laughter.
